Validate_address

Checks whether a shipping address is valid and returns a corrected, standardized version when one is available. Optionally validates the ZIP+4 extension.
  • Type: Read-only
  • Example prompt: “Is 26440 La Alameda, Lake Forest, CA 92630 a valid shipping address?”
  • Example prompt: “Clean up this address before we quote it.”
Validating an address does not create anything in FreightPOP. Use it before quoting or booking to catch bad ZIP codes early, which is the most common cause of a rejected rate request.
